Membership
Rotary members are part of a diverse group of men and women working to address various community and international service needs. Through community service and other means, Rotary members help promote peace and understanding throughout the world. Our members are our most important asset. They are the force that allows Rotary to carry out its many humanitarian efforts and achieve its overall mission.
Essentially, membership is simple. You need to be a person of good character and standing, either in, or have been in, a trade or profession. Our membership include public servants, employees in the private sector, self employed and retirees. You need to be willing to commit yourself. Being a member of Rotary involves a commitment, in terms of time and some cost. Each club has an annual fee and there is a cost each week for the breakfast at each meeting.
"You will gain far more from being a member than you contribute"
Membership of all Rotary Clubs is by invitation. It is not necessary that you know a member of our club. Our club asks anyone who is considering becoming a member to attend several breakfast meetings before the club will extend an invitation to become a member. The members look forward to your possible involvement, and are more than happy to discuss with you what we do, why we do it, and how.
If you complete the following form then we will contact you and discuss our Rotary Club with you. Or else feel free to turn up at our meeting on Wednesday mornings at 6.45 a.m for 7.00 a.m at the Davey Bar & Restaurant, Frankston.
