Our Club

The Rotary Club of Frankston Sunrise has always had a very close working relationship with Frankston council and the councillors, which has led to the involvement with many of our community projects.
From tree planting to building Rotunda's in Beauty Park. This prompted councillor Christine Richards to approach our club to assist in facilitating a maintenance and 'fix up' day at historic Ballam Park Homestead. The Ballam Park Homestead volunteers do a fantastic job keeping the property spic and span for all the visitors that pass through, but some of the maintenance is a bit beyond them. So the Rotary club pitched in and got through their list of items which included...Removal of an old gas heater and associated patch up; put up 2 gates; replace weatherboards; fix doors; put locks on toilets; put up an old style telephone and plate holder.
Our Club enjoys the hands on projects.
Some coming up are...Mobility garden at St John of God Rehabilitation Centre; build beach box's to raise funds for councils community foundation fund.
